Wild Instincts is the premier wildlife rehabilitation center in Northern Wisconsin, dedicated to the care and treatment of all native Wisconsin species. With over 28 years of professional rehab experience, the Director of Rehab leads a team that provides expert care for animals ranging from mice to bears, hummingbirds to eagles, and even threatened endangered species.
Offering three internship sessions throughout the year, Wild Instincts provides hands-on training and experience in all aspects of wildlife care, from admission to release. Interns gain valuable skills in animal husbandry, medical work, administrative duties, and fieldwork, while also participating in educational programs and learning from experienced professionals in the field of wildlife rehabilitation.
