Headwaters Incorporated, founded in 1969, is a nonprofit, community-based work and rehabilitation center in Rhinelander in Wisconsin. The center serves people with developmental and physical disabilities in Forest, Oneida, and Vilas counties in Wisconsin. Its adult training program features vocational evaluation, sheltered work, case management, transportation, and community integration and employment. Headwaters Incorporated serves more than 400 individuals yearly. The center also manages the Birth-To-Three Program, which works to identify individual and family goals. It provides options to participate in a selection of activities, such as bowling, pool therapy, hiking and snowshoeing. The center administers personal maintenance, social skills, environmental awareness and home living programs.
