History
Lairmont Manor is on the National Registry of Historical Sites and a member of the local Historical Society. The Manor was originally designed and built by renowned Seattle architect Carl Gould who is also known for the design of the University of Washington's main library. Gould worked together with Francis and Charles Larrabee to design and complete what was their family home in 1914. Lairmont Manor is now privately owned by a local Bellingham family who have restored, maintained and opened the doors of this remarkable estate for all to enjoy. Lairmont Manor has been the backdrop for countless celebrations of all kinds, in all seasons, for well over 50 years.
