Nashville School of the Arts began as a small magnet program for students interested in arts in Pearl-Cohn High School in 1993. The school serves students in grades 9 through 12 and offers programs in dance, mass media, music, theatre and visual arts. The school employs several counselors who offer group and individual counseling and provides information on a range of topics, such as anger management, relationships and career planning. The high school has a media center that provides access to resources for students and staff members. The school s instructional program also includes various math, science, social studies and health education sessions. Nashville School of the Arts is located in Nashville, Tenn.
