Built in 1956, Glencliff High School offers a variety of educational and enrichment programs to students in grades nine through 12. The school offers advanced placement programs in English, Spanish, biology, history, art, and government and politics. It organizes various extracurricular activities and sports programs, including cheerleading, wrestling, cross country, golf, tennis, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, football and bowling. It also organizes various extracurricular activities, including orchestra, forensics, drama, peer tutoring and after school tutoring. Located in Nashville, Tenn., Glencliff High School enrolls more than 1,400 students and is part of the Metropolitan Nashville Public School District that educates more than 74,000 students and comprises over 70 elementary, 30 middle and 15 high schools.
