Established in 1906, Lumberton High School is a part of the Public Schools of Robeson County, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. Located in Lumberton, N.C., the school serves more than 2,200 students in grades 9 through 12. It conducts classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers a range of extracurricular activities that includes music, fine arts, and technical, health and physical education. Lumberton High School supports a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, tennis, volleyball and cross country. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that conducts fundraising activities and special programs. It offers the English as a Second Language program. In addition, it conducts Spanish language classes. The school also provides food, transportation, guidance counseling and health care.
