Established in 1906, Lumberton High School is a part of the Public Schools of Robeson County, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. Located in Lumberton, N.C., the school serves more than 2,200 students in grades 9 through 12. It conducts classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers a range of extracurricular activities that includes music, fine arts, and technical, health and physical education. Lumberton High School supports a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, tennis, volleyball and cross country. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that conducts fundraising activities and special programs. It offers the English as a Second Language program. In addition, it conducts Spanish language classes. The school also provides food, transportation, guidance counseling and health care. Lumberton High School provides special education classes to gifted and talented students.
