History
Born in Dayton, Ohio, Jessica Schaeffer began studying music at the age of 4 and began private harp lessons at age 10. She received her formal musical education from Interlochen Center for the Arts, Aspen Music Festival and School, and Northwestern University where she earned a B.M. in Harp Performance. Jessica also holds an M.M. and Certification in Dalcroze Eurhythmics from the Longy School of Music of Bard College. An accomplished and versatile performer, Jessica's engagements range from weddings and private events to collaborations with composers and pop musicians. She has performed with the Bolivian National Symphony, opened for Harry Connick, Jr., and just about everything in between! Jessica's harp studio is open to students of all ages and abilities. She offers private and group lessons.

Jessica offers individual and group harp lessons for students of all ages and abilities. Lessons are individually tailored to facilitate each student's goals and interests. Emphasis on technique, self/body-awareness, and creative expression. Improvisation, composition, and ensemble experiences are an important component of musical development and are offered during the student's course of study.
