History
Wild Roots Fine Arts, Inc. began the summer of 2012, after Eben Mann (WRFA Director) realized that Rutherford County was lacking a quality fine arts academy for its community. There needed to be one place where teachers and students could come to share valuable arts training. The Summer Session 2012 offerings included: 10 different music classes, 9 art classes, as well as private music lessons on violin, viola, cello, harp, piano, guitar, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, Highland bagpipe, percussion, and voice. Over the next few years, we would offer music and art, as well as introduce ballet and healthy living cooking and fitness classes. Our numbers have dwindled over the last few years, but we are hopeful that more creative people will hear about Wild Roots and take advantage of this amazing opportunity. We are currently trying to build our music and art programs. Although we are not offering group classes for this summer (2020), private music and art lessons are available.
