History
The Albany County Historical Association was founded in 1942, and has operated the historic 1798 Ten Broeck Mansion and grounds as a community museum, educational space, and historic gardens since 1948.

The Albany County Historical Association's mission is to preserve, present, promote, and tell the stories of the rich and diverse history and culture of Albany County. The ACHA is committed to educational and cultural outreach through exhibits, tours, lectures, concerts, performances, and children's educational programs, serving both our neighborhood and the region.
