Founded in 1981, the South East Consortium for Special Services (SEC) is a non-profit, community-based organization whose mission is "to provide therapeutic recreation programs and leisure-related services to children and adults with disabilities and special needs residing in our member municipalities." Their offices are in the Mamaroneck Town Center on Boston Post Road.
The consortium serves the towns and villages of Mamaroneck, Scarsdale and Harrison, the towns of Eastchester and Pelham, the City of Rye, and the villages of Rye Brook, Port Chester, Larchmont, Bronxville and Tuckahoe.
