Established in 1990, Hispanic Federation is a service-oriented membership organization that works with more than 90 Latino health and human services agencies to promote the social, political and economic well-being of the Latino community. It works in the areas of education, health, HIV and AIDS, housing, arts and culture and economic development. The organization also offers child care and immigrant services. Hispanic Federation national initiatives include civic participation, federal advocacy and coalition for new philanthropy. It additionally provides emergency and immigration assistance services. The organization serves more than 2 million Hispanics in the Northeast. Hispanic Federation is located in New York City.
