The Plainview Volunteer Fire Department, located on Long Island 35 miles east of New York City, provides fire protection and emergency services to the hamlets of Plainview, Old Bethpage, and parts of Woodbury. We have a staff of 100 members, all volunteers, and our apparatus consists of six engines, two ladders, one heavy rescue, three ALS equipped ambulances and two medical first responder Fly Cars ; all housed in three stationhouses.
