Established in 1945, the Legislative Counsel Bureau is administered by the State of Nevada. The bureau is responsible for assisting the state legislature in finding facts concerning the government, proposed legislation and various other public matters. It operates through the legislative commission and interim finance committee, as well as various divisions.
