Lord of Life Lutheran Church strives to create a welcoming environment by reaching out to visitors each Sunday morning. The church is dedicated to community service too. It holds a monthly food drive for Circle of Concern, sends care packages to soldiers overseas with ties to the congregation and dedicates ten percent of its budget each year to a different mission project. Both Sunday services are traditional and identical. There are several small group meetings throughout the week and a ladies' quilt group that makes blankets to donate. The youth group is very active. Confirmation classes meet on Wednesday. The church also hosts an annual popular Christmas program, Return to Bethlehem. The recreation of the Biblical city features live animals and church members as actors. The preschool offers classes for three year olds and pre-Kindergarten classes too. The school is Biblically based and includes chapel sessions and Bible readings, but students are accepted regardless of religion.
