Medina is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 4,892 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 26.9 square miles (69.7 km²), of which, 25.6 square miles (66.2 km²) of it is land and 1.3 square miles (3.4 km²) of it (4.94%) is water. Minnesota State Highway 55 serves as a main route.
As of the census of 2000, there were 4,005 people, 1,309 households, and 1,117 families residing in the city. The population density was 156.7 people per square mile (60.5/km²). There were 1,337 housing units at an average density of 52.3 per square mile (20.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.33% White, 0.47% African American, 0.22% Native American, 1.20% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.17% from other races, and 0.57% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.82% of the population.
