The small patch of land that became known as Fremont Park was purchased in 1954 for a whopping $75. The park ties with Apple Blossom Park for the 2nd smallest recognized park in Richfield and features a small basketball court, picnic tables, a field and a playground.
The park sits at the very end of the 7400 block, between both Emerson and Fremont Avenues, and is close to Berea Lutheran Church.
