Troy Fire Department's Station No. 3 is one of six fire stations strategically located throughout the city.
Built in 2004, the 9,000-square foot station has four bays and houses two pumper trucks, an aerial platform and an air compressor/cascade unit.
The department maintains an authorized staff about 180 volunteers and 10 career firefighters. All Troy firefighters are certified by the State of Michigan. Volunteers are on-call 24-hours a day to respond to requests for service such as fires, vehicle extrications and other emergencies.
