Founded in 1972, Lawton High School offers a college preparatory curriculum that includes various subjects, such as science, mathematics, computer technology and physical education. It operates a library that features a collection of fiction and nonfiction books and reference materials. The school also maintains a guidance department that assists students and parents with personal problems, questions, college applications, career information and job placements. Its sports activities include basketball, football, baseball, hockey and volleyball.
