History
Methodist Preschool opened in 1962 as an outreach program of the church. The preschool provides the children and parents of LaGrange and nearby communities a safe and loving environment for their first formal learning experience. Methodist Preschool is non-profit and is administered by an Early Education Board consisting of the Preschool Director, a Church staff member, Parent Representatives, and Church Representatives.

Methodist Preschool is a play-based, child-centered preschool in the heart of the LaGrange community. Methodist Preschool serves the families of two- to six-year-olds through hands-on experiences and interacting with peers and adults through developmentally appropriate activities. The dedicated teachers foster the social, intellectual, emotional and physical development of the child. Methodist Preschool offers a number of enrichment classes. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Art and Games, Handwriting and Literacy, Music and Movement or Musical Theatre are some of the enrichment offerings. A specialized Kindergarten STEM class is offered on Monday afternoon for half day kindergarten students. Methodist Preschool will nurture, educate, love and care for your child, sparking a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
