The Mothers Trust Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to disadvantaged children in the Lake County community. It covers a wide variety of needs, unmet by other social service programs, including but not limited to assisting with educational expenses, providing clothing, music lessons, tutoring, eyeglasses, sports program fees and assistance obtaining rental housing to avoid homelessness. Mothers Trust Foundation accepts assistance requests from school counselors, social workers and other professional working with families. The organization also holds fundraising and resource events throughout the year, with a calendar on the website.
