Founded in 1994, Covanta Lee works in the areas of conversion of municipal solid waste to energy. Its service areas include Hendry and Lee counties in Florida. The facility processes more than 1,800 tons per day of solid waste and generates over 55 megawatts of clean and renewable energy.
