Guilford High School enrolls students in grades 9 through 12 and offers a range of advanced placement courses. It conducts classes in biology, calculus, chemistry, computer science, English, French, physics, Spanish, American history and western civilization. Guilford High School s counseling program includes individual planning, group counseling, career guidance, and teacher and parent consultation. It involves students in the National Honor Society, student senate, yearbook, drama, service organizations, and language and literary clubs. The school provides opportunities to participate in several athletic activities, such as soccer, football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, field hockey, wrestling, softball, tennis, volleyball, cross country, track and field and golf. Its media center has a collection of academic and fictional books, newspapers, magazines, dictionaries and other reference materials. Located in Guilford, Conn., the high school is a part of Guilford Public Schools.
