Timothy Morris, MD is a board-certified pulmonologist and the Medical Director of the Pulmonary Function and Exercise Lab at UC San Diego Health. With a special interest in life-threatening pulmonary embolism and thromboembolic disease, Dr. Morris leads research projects in new therapies and diagnostic techniques for acute pulmonary embolism. He is also actively involved in training medical students, residents, and fellows in pulmonary medicine.
Dr. Morris completed his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine and his residency at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He is board certified in pulmonology, critical care, and internal medicine. With a focus on providing state-of-the-art exercise and lung function tests, Dr. Morris and his team at the pulmonary function and exercise lab help diagnose and determine oxygen needs for patients with breathing problems.
