Christine began Strands in 2003 after having been a nurse for 20 years. With that being said, this place is a wonderful and nurturing place for children and adults alike. Having been at this particular location since 2008, Christine has taught hundreds of people how to knit, if not thousands. At this place, there is a lot of yarn--enough yarn to keep children warm at night, and it does, as Christine donates to various charities such as Knots of Love and Kids Love Knits. The yarn here varies from color to thickness. This is the perfect place to stop in if you're looking to start a new project, if you want to learn how to knit and even pick up a couple of books on knitting. Give her a call, or check out the Web site for more information on products and classes.
