The San Bruno Park School District is comprised of seven elementary schools and one middle school, with a total enrollment of more than 2,600 students. The schools in the district have received a number of accolades, including California Distinguished School awards, California Business for Excellence in Education awards and Danford Foundation Grant awards for instructional technology. The district also has state-sponsored pre-schools at a number of school sites. According to recent standardized test results, San Bruno Park students scored proficient or higher in math and English/language arts, but were slightly below the state average in science and history/social studies. The superintendent is Dr. David Hutt.
