History

Good Times was founded in 1975 and is one of the most successful and long-running publications in Santa Cruz County. Between 1988 and 2014, Good Times was owned by out-of-town owners. It was merged with the Santa Cruz Weekly (formerly Metro Santa Cruz) in 2014 and returned to local ownerhsip.
