The City Hall building for the City of Banning houses staff offices, utility payment cashiers and the city council chambers.
It's located on Ramsey St. — once busy Highway 99 linking Los Angeles with Palm Springs — and is part of a cluster of buildings that includes the new police station, the chamber of commerce, the county district attorney's Banning office, and the county Superior Court.
Plans are for the county section to expand into a full-fledged Justice Center.
City manager Andy Takata says that you can "find anything that you need" at City Hall, except for paying your gas bill — and that's right across the street.
