The Loma Linda Senior Center opened on Sept. 15, 2003 to provide senior activities and a gathering place and address seniors' needs. Activities include educational programs, social and cultural programs, entertainment, meals and exercise (wellness) programs. The center provides refreshments and runs exercise videos and movies. The senior center board comprises nine members who serve three-year staggered terms. The goal is to provide seniors with the best possible program at a minimal cost to the city. The board meets on the third Tuesday of each quarter, January, April, July and October at 12:30pm in the senior center.
