History
I started as a potter selling out of my parent's garage. I moved to my house on Main Street in 1978 and sold through a partnership gallery and then out of my garage for years. In 1995, I rented a store front downtown in the historic Occidental. My store is now the Virginian restaurant. In 2001, we moved across the street to our current location at 1 North Main right by the creek.
Specialties
We love functional crafts and carry pottery, jewelry, blown glass, some furniture, and other hand made items. We also carry some completely silly things because they make us laugh. We have a real passion for pottery, as we believe it makes our meals and lives better to use beautiful things in the kitchen. Margo Brown has been a full time potter since 1977, and is always striving to make her pieces more functional and beautiful than before.
