The Dubois Museum is located in the Upper Wind River Region of Wyoming, an area best know for Mountain Shoshone Indians, a robust Tie Hack Industry and its famous and historic Dude Ranches.

Exhibits and artifacts relating to the areas historic Dude Ranches, Tie Hack Industry, Native Americans and natural history are important aspects of the Upper Wind River Region are prominently featured at the Dubois Museum.
