Founded in 1953, Wilson Elementary School enrolls more than 280 students and has over 20 classroom teachers. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, language arts, math, science, reading, social studies, and physical and health education. Wilson Elementary School operates sports, band, choir and orchestra clubs. It has a parent-teacher organization that conducts monthly meetings and supports several school events and activities. In addition, the school offers Title I and English as a Second Language programs. It is a part of Kenosha Unified School District 1, which serves nearly 22,000 students and operates over 20 elementary, middle and high schools. Wilson Elementary School is located in Kenosha, Wis.
