Western Technical College is one of more than 15 of Wisconsin s technical colleges that make up the Wisconsin Technical College System, and is located in La Crosse, Wis. The college offers more than 35 programs that lead to an associate in applied science degree. The programs are offered in four divisions that include business, family and consumer sciences, human services and industrial technologies. Additionally, the college also offers technical diplomas, and service learning and certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines, including tooling technology, practical nursing, electronic servicing technology, computerized accounting, graphic designing and interior decoration. The college offers students financial aid in the form of federal grants, loans and work-study awards. The college also has transfer agreements with several four-year colleges and universities that allow Western Technical College graduates with associate degrees to enter bachelor of science degree program with junior standing.
