History
The Wilderness Inn started life as a local Tavern to take care of the loggers and the Railroad people in the early 50's. As time went on the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge was created on 43,000 adjacent acres and a Motel was built to accomodate the Hunters and Anglers that came to visit the Refuge. Today the business is primarily known for the good quality food that is served next door at the Bar and Grill. So, If you are looking for a nice clean comfortable place to stay with great food, give us a call at 608-565-2277.
