South Milwaukee High School is a private, co-educational school providing education to students in grades nine through 12. The school offers college preparatory courses in various subjects including history, English, fine arts, health, world languages, mathematics and science. Its world languages department offers courses in German, Spanish, French and classes in European culture that are taught in English. The math department of the school offers courses in applied algebra, statistics, computer programming and advanced placement courses in calculus. The school also offers various clubs and organizations, such as the National Honor Society, pep bands, brass, percussion and woodwind ensembles, and chess, rocket and computer clubs. Additionally, it provides a wide range of athletic programs, including basketball, cross country, softball, volleyball and wrestling. Located in South Milwaukee, Wis., the school also has a library providing various books, newspapers, periodicals, electronic databases and Internet access
