The large pavilion at Smolenski Park was designed to reflect the rich Polish heritage of the area. It provides restrooms, shelter, picnic tables and rental space for private parties. Visitors to the park can play baseball, walk through natural woodlands, sit under trees or the shade of the pavilion for a picnic or use the multi-tiered playground equipment.
Established in 1994, Smolenski Park will soon be connected with the park and natural areas of the new Mount Pleasant Village Hall campus, giving area residents even more opportunity to go outside. For the last several years, Smolenski Park has hosted the annual Racine Family YMCA summer day camp program.
