History
Located in the beautiful countryside between Ellsworth and Beldenville, WI. An old farmhouse turned restaurant that has been in continuous operation for at least 50 years. In the 1960's the original incarnation of Shady Grove was a popular watering hole for locals and tourists alike. In the 1970's and 1980's The Copper Kettle took over and enjoyed tremendous success as a destination dining establishment. In 2003 Steve and Heather Snook purchased Shady Grove and developed it's current concept around a locally sourced, farm-to-fork philosophy. In October 2013 the Snooks were ready to retire and passed the spatula to Shane Pruitt and Bridget Kelly who share their vision and intend to build upon the tradition of freshly prepared meals from wholesome ingredients in a friendly, unique environment!
