Opened in 1928, Roosevelt Elementary School is a part of Kenosha Unified School District 1 and serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school district operates several elementary schools. Each institution within the district has a library that stocks newspapers, books, periodicals and magazines and provides access to several educational and recreational Web sites. Located in Kenosha, Wis., Roosevelt Elementary School teaches several subjects that include language arts, math, physical education, art, science, social studies and music. Kenosha Unified School District 1 also includes Prairie Lane Elementary School, Somers Elementary School, Bullen Middle School and Bradford High School.
