HistoryChrist Church was founded by a few faithful families who wanted a new type of church in Mequon, WI. They started in homes, then met for a period of time at School Sisters of Notre Dame, now Concordia University. They build a traditional-style church on Port Washington Rd near County Line Rd where they worshiped for many years. In 2009, 150 church members stepped out in faith to build phase one of the current building at 13460 N Port Washington Rd. In 2019, phase two opened with a congregation size of about 600.
