Founded more than 40 years ago, Milwaukee Bearing & Machining is a manufacturer of high quality halfshell, split and segmented babbitt bearings. The company has state-of- the-art capabilities for centrifugally casting up to 54-inch diameters and static pouring to 120-inch diameters. Bearing alloys are cast on the outside diameter, inside diameter or both surfaces if required. The company maintains tolerances to .0005 inches. One-piece orders or orders of several hundred are addressed by utilizing CNC machining methods. All bearing shell material, cast iron, steel and bronze can be processed in the company s 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
