Menomonee River Parkway #4, Milwaukee, WI 53226, US

The Menomonee River Parkway stretches almost the longest length of Wauwatosa from southeast to northwest, following the stream of the same name. It was part of the vision of Charles Whitnall, the godfather of the Milwaukee County Parks System, who worked to create a network of parkways that act as both floodways and natural and recreational corridors. Much of the Menomonee River Parkway is also the route of the popular Oak Leaf Trail, a 76-mile biking and hiking circuit in Milwaukee County.
