Mashuda Hall is a co-ed residence hall located on the west side of Marquette University's campus in Milwaukee, WI. It offers a variety of room types, including single, double, triple, and quad rooms, all of which have private bathrooms. The building provides 24/7 security and is equipped with amenities such as computer labs, game rooms, laundry facilities, lounges, and study spaces. Originally a hotel, Mashuda Hall was purchased by Marquette University in 1980 and underwent remodeling in 2002. It is named after Josephine Hallman Mashuda, a generous benefactor of the university.
With a rich history, Mashuda Hall was once the temporary home of The Beatles in 1964 after their performance at the Milwaukee Arena. Although the exact room they stayed in is uncertain, it is believed to be on the seventh floor. The residence hall is staffed by a Residence Hall Director, Resident Assistants, a Hall Minister, and a Facilities Manager, ensuring a comfortable and secure living environment for first and second year students.
