Madison West High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students and is affiliated with Madison Metropolitan School District. Its curriculum includes marketing, business education, applied technology, computers, family and consumer science, algebra, geometry, biology, mathematics, physics, French and Spanish, and physical education. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include performing arts, forensics, debate and dramatics, science Olympiad, field trips, jazz band, and ski and chess clubs. Its athletic department provides various sports activities to students, such as cheerleading, swimming, golf, cross-country, volleyball, tennis, football, basketball, gymnastics, wrestling, and track and field.
