Lake Geneva Country Meats is a family owned and operated business since 1965, located just 3 short miles east of Lake Geneva on Hwy 50. John and Rita Leahy started the business together operating with just a few employees strictly as a custom slaughtering plant. Through the years the business has evolved into a multi-faceted enterprise with over 20 employees that is managed by the daughters and sons-in laws of John and Rita. Not only do we slaughter and custom process animals for the home freezer, we run a large sausage operation, wholesale business, and have a very busy retail store featuring all our own cuts of beef, pork, lamb, hams, bacons and dozens of varieties of fresh and cooked sausages. We are a USDA federally inspected operation that has a federal meat inspector on the premises each day. The highest standards of safety and sanitation are followed at our plant and cleanliness and quality are a highly valued premium in our business.
