The Kenosha County Public Works Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all public buildings, roads, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, water mains, sewer lines, cemeteries, parks and airport. Additionally, it provides protection and maintenance of lakes, storm drains and wastewater collection systems within Kenosha County, Wis. Its highway division offers general and winter maintenance services that include plowing and salting roads, paving, resurfacing and mailbox installation. The department s park division maintains more than 12 miles of cycling trails and over 1,500 acres of managed recreational land at several parks located throughout the county. The Kenosha County Public Works Department additionally develops and maintains golf courses and has its office located in Bristol, Wis.
