Jennifer Burkett earned her medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago - Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL. She completed her residency in neurology and her fellowship in vascular neurology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. As a neurohospitalist, Burkett's practice is focused on diagnosing and treating strokes, seizures, neuromuscular conditions, headaches, , and autoimmune conditions of the nervous system. Burkett is a member of The Wisconsin Neurological Society, the Neurohospitalist Society. She is also a member of the Women in Neurology and The American Heart Association. In her free time, Dr. Burkett enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two goldendoodles. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, flower arranging, and playing tennis. As a family, they like to travel with Italy being her favorite because of the incredible food (pizza, pasta, gelato!), culture, and beaches.
