Hamilton High School, located in Sussex, Wis., is a public school that enrolls more than 1,200 students. The school was established in 1962, and provides academic education and higher learning opportunities to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, foreign languages, science and social studies. The high school also provides courses in aircraft engineering, automotives, business, communication and graphic arts, and family and consumer science. Additonally, Hamilton High School provides advanced-placement courses in English, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, history and computer science. It also provides honors courses and ACT and SAT preparation classes. The school additionally organizes various extracurricular activities for its students, such as fine arts, band, musical concerts, drama, theater, debate competitions and trips to museum. It has a library that provides curriculum books, literary sources and Internet search tools. It also offers the National Honor society program and various sports activities, such as basketball, cross country, golf, swimming and tennis. The high school is a part of the Hamilton School District.
