HistoryStarted from humble beginnings as a repair shop in the basement of Frank Kolter in the early 1940s, business began to boom and a new home for his business became necessary. After relocating down the street, sharing space with a green-grocer, he went to work building a solid reputation of reliable work. Once more, Frank's business outgrew its digs and required more room-- after taking over the building and unconverting it, he was left with what is known today as Kolter Bicycle & Fitness.
