Established in 1995, the Fox Valley Metropolitan Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that works to safeguard civil rights and preserve peace, order and safety. It employs more than 15 sworn officers and civilian staff members. The department operates administration, patrol and investigation units, as well as employs school resource officers and crossing guards. The Fox Valley Metropolitan Police Department has a communication division that coordinates responses to police, fire and medical emergency calls for service. It conducts neighborhood watch, vacation house checks, residential security and ride along programs. The department supports the Crime Stoppers program, which assists in the identification of criminals through anonymous tips supplied by the public. The Fox Valley Metropolitan Police Department provides vehicle and animal licensing services, as well as offers the copies of accident reports. It is located in Little Chute, Wis.
