According to its website, 4-H is "a community of young people... learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills." While the offices for 4-H of Waukesha County are located in the lower level of the Waukesha County Courthouse complex, its reach is everywhere in the community. Instructing youth between the ages of five and 13 years, 4-H offers hands-on projects and activities focusing on areas such as pet care, art, rockets, gardening and more. Classes and projects available also include drama, music, basketball, speaking and community service. Secretary Lisa Boyer states that the facility's highest enrollment in any given program is photography. To enroll your child in 4-H, contact the office directly or visit the website.
